Do not buy!!! The ends of the pins are not mushroomed and come off easily! I blew out 10 of them in the first 2 days.. go to your local bike shop or order from kmcchains website.

When I purchased these, the product images and description led me to believe that they would fit 6/7/8 speed drivetrains. Originally, I had intended to use them to repair the x8 chain on my gravel bike. These links are intended for single speed bicycles. They fit fine on my BMX, but do not allow the chain to track properly on my multi-speed bikes. With this in mind, have reviewed the product based on the build quality, reliability, and capability. These are decent quick links that will absolutely work in a pinch to repair a damaged chain. They do not require special tools to install or uninstall, this can be achieved with a small flat screwdriver and a pair of pliers if that's all that is available.
